Hello,

Where do I need to install this tool, on the client or on the server side? I installed on the client side on Visual Studio 2008 but I don't see the search menu appear when I right-click on the "Work Items" Menu in Team Explrer.

Hi,

Firstly - Really useful utility, great work.

It would be great if you extended the functionality so that you could select the fields that you wanted to search. We have some custom fields on certain work item types that it would be really useful to be able to add to the quick search. You could even take it a step further and save sets of fields to search in.

CREATED ISSUE: Exception when searching for terms in double quotes

Steps to reproduce:

Enter a search term in double quotes, e.g. "blue cheese".

Actual result:
---------------

A msgbox is displayed and the search doesn't complete:

TFS Quick Search Error
---------------------------
Expecting left bracket.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Expected result:
------------------

The search should return work items which contain the phrase "blue cheese".

Hi, I didn't realise but all my source code just disappeared from code plex.
I have re-added all the source code for it now.
If you plan on extending on the project then please let me know and I will give you access, it would be good to see new features added to this project.

Project Description
A visual studio 2005 add in that allows the user to search multiple fields of TFS work items for a project. A common usage of this would be to allow the user to quickly search title, description and history of comments of all work items in a project (but more fields should be easy to add).
